Mahsa’s Priorities
Quality of Life
For decades, new people have been drawn to Camas for our beautiful parks and trails, our welcoming downtown, and our great schools. Now, Camas stands at a crossroads.
With our growing population and evolving economy, we must plan in ways that protect and improve our quality of life. This means coordinating infrastructure and economic development in tandem—a virtuous cycle where strong infrastructure attracts businesses, and economic growth funds better roads, utilities, and schools.
We also need leadership that understands how to plan—not just oppose. As a civil engineer, I’ve spent my career turning complex challenges into practical solutions. While serving on the Camas Planning Commission, I’ve pushed for zoning that supports a mix of housing options for all life stages. So young families can plant roots, and long-term residents can stay close as they downsize.
Public safety and predictable services play a vital role in our quality of life. I’ll protect our police and fire services, ensuring they have the resources to keep us safe.
My vision for Camas’s quality of life? Protect what makes our community special while tackling challenges with practical, results-driven solutions.

Economic Development
As a civil engineer, I’ve seen firsthand how strong infrastructure lays the foundation for economic vitality. Roads, utilities, and reliable services don’t just connect us—they attract businesses, support jobs, and keep our city moving.
Companies choose Camas for our connectivity—and they stay for our outstanding schools, safe neighborhoods, and natural charm. Our beloved library, beautiful parks, and charming downtown are proof that smart planning makes life better.
With decades of experience delivering projects that improve safety and strengthen local economies, I understand how to grow Camas without sacrificing what makes it special. As a member of a family-owned business, I value a strong local economy and a thriving downtown.
As your City Council representative, I’ll support zoning that encourages sustainable growth, like mixed-use development in the Georgia-Pacific mill district and transportation planning that reduces congestion and honors Camas’s unique character.

Good Governance
I’m running to serve Camas—not climb the political ladder or play partisan games. My career and public service work focus on strengthening communities, promoting thoughtful growth, and delivering real solutions.
Camas deserves a Council Member who listens, collaborates, and plans for the future. With expertise in engineering, budgeting, and community engagement, I’ll work to make Camas a place where families thrive, businesses grow, and our community remains a source of pride.
On the City Council, I’ll partner with colleagues and the mayor to set clear priorities—respecting diverse perspectives while advancing a shared vision for sustainable growth and financial responsibility.
Obstruction without solutions isn’t leadership—it stalls progress and drives up costs. Camas needs leaders who build, not block. I’m ready to get to work.
